Company description
The company evolved from its humble beginnings thanks to the skill of the founder, Friedrich Wilhelm Hoffmann, in 1879 in Miihlberg / Elbe, a powerful construction and fitter. Today the building and machine fitting Friedrich Hoffmann is a company that combines the knowledge and skills as well as the economic experience of 4 generations in itself and as a traditional heritage passes on to the next generation. The production range includes the 5 major fields of mechanical engineering, metal, steel, stainless steel processing and CNC technology. The technologies of the individual fields can be individually combined and thus the optimal solutions drawn, where is set to a functioning quality management. The company is involved in the technical implementation of development projects and is in the manufacture of single and special parts as well as series a flexible partner. The waterjet cutting center offers many application possibilities. With the water-abrasive jet almost any material can be cut: * Metals, glass * Rock, technical ceramics * High strength and difficult to machine alloys (eg, nickel based alloys, titanium) * Plastics * Composites, fiber composites and laminates * Sandwich materials * Organic Materials The water jet without Abrasivmittelzusatz is especially suitable for processing soft and pliable materials: * Leather, textiles * Foams * Cardboard, Corrugated Board * Pulps * Fiber Composites Features: * Cut into 2 1/2 - D * Minimum contact pressure * Drilling and cutting with the same tool * No mechanical, thermal or chemical degradation of the workpieces * No generation of harmful gases or vapors * Minimum notch area * High Ka
