Bollmann GmbH tool factory 1. Who we are Since 1931, Bollmann GmbH Werkzeugfabrik has stood for precision in sheet metal processing. As a medium-sized family company based in Remscheid, we are in the third generation combining tradition with modern manufacturing toolmaking and our own production. Together with our sister company Max Selzer, we employ around 30 people. Our strength lies in short decision-making processes, a high level of professional competence and the ability to quickly translate ideas into functioning products. Bollmann GmbH Werkzeugfabrik and Max Selzer GmbH & Co. KG have been developing and manufacturing high-quality sheet metal hand tools for professional use for decades. Today, we are one of the few remaining manufacturers of this product group in Europe. Our experience doesn't just come from manufacturing toolmaking — it comes from developing and manufacturing our own products. We bring this knowledge to every customer project. From the initial sketch to series production, we support our customers with development, manufacturing toolmaking and production from a single source. 2. Development up to series production Many projects start with a sketch or sample part. Together with our customers, we develop a first prototype from this. Even in this phase, we take subsequent series production into account so that a good idea is also turned into an economically producible product. Requests for changes flow directly into development. Depending on the complexity, the first prototypes are created within a few weeks. 5.
