Over forty years of experience
Capecchi has been operating in the precision engineering sphere since 1962. Production ranges from small and medium-sized precision-engineered parts to assemblies and mechanisms.
Over the years, the company, in making products from individual parts to finished products, has consolidated and brought its experience to bear in various sectors: laser technology, industrial automation, durometry, stereocartography and topography, radar, ophthalmology and the textile and biomedical industries. For the railway industry it makes gauges for testing rolling stock.
Thanks to the modern machines and technologies employed, Capecchi is able to make equipment to order and to the design of the Customer.
Precision technology
The workshop, staffed by highly qualified personnel, has a production area with leading-edge machine tools, that make a wide range of mechanical machining possible: vertical work centres with continuous fourth axis and horizontal multipallets with continuous fourth and fifth axis, milling machines, grinding machines, CNC parallel and revolver type lathes. Special rooms are dedicated to optical assembly and precision engineering.
Always abreast of the times, the production line, thanks to the use of CAD-CAM technology and dedicated machinery, is able to transform designs into finished products of the highest quality and precision.
Controlled production
The production processes that are not part of the technologies used by the Company are outsourced to external suppliers who are carefully selected and qualified to ensure the best possible supply quality.
Certified quality system
To ensure the quality of the finished product, machining is monitored throughout the entire cycle and the components are carefully tested. For this purpose the testing room is fitted with a three-dimensional measuring machine, a durometer and a profilometer as well as traditional measuring and testing instruments and samples that can be referred to the International System.
All the machining, if so requested by the customer, can be accompanied by a certification of both the raw materials and the treatments used.
