Who we are
During the years following its foundation COOPTIM manufactured various precision machined parts. From the middle of the 80s COOPTIM had specialized in the production of wire feed systems for MIG/MAG welding equipment. Production of the first generation wire feeding systems started in 1983. During the past 40 years COOPTIM had evolved to become one of the world’s leading independent wire feed manufacturer which has been exporting its products since 1985, currently to some 40 countries. A number of products developed by the COOPTIM are protected by international patents. COOPTIM delivers its products primarily to foreign welding equipment manufacturers, which can be fitted into any machinery ranging from small hobby equipment through large industrial units to welding robots. Between 2009 and 2018 the annual produced quantity ranged between 20,000 and 25,000. COOPTIM’s wire feed systems are manufactured to serve various customer needs. Product can be classified into four main categories: integrated units, plastic units, aluminum units special units manufactured for welding robots which comply with the requirements of Industry 4.0. In addition to the production of wire feed mechanics and their parts, we also produce various welding machine building components. Furthermore, we are in contact with many partners who are completely independent of the welding industry. Production is conducted in four organizational units: the machining shop, the assembly shop, the sheet iron shop and the plastics shop. Thanks to the wide range of machines, the company can operate independently of external market players. This results flexibility in production and easy service to customer needs. COOPTIM designs its own tools and manufactures their majority in its own tool shop.
