Who we are
The spring Technology Group, headquartered in Kaltbrunn produced at 4 locations across Switzerland and has over 80 years of experience in the development and production of springs made of wire and tape, assemblies and mounting hardware. Portfolio: Compression Springs: In the range of dimensions, shapes and finishes. We process wires and rods of 0.2 mm to 20.0 mm in diameter as well as materials with rectangular or square cross-section up to 15 x 15 mm. For the following spring forms we have been established: cylindrical tapered (0.2 to 20.0 mm) biconical fitted barrel and chimney-shaped (0.2 to 3.0 mm) Our specialty: Progressive springs (0.2 to 3.0 mm) Extension Springs: In the range of dimensions, shapes and finishes. Oesenform according to customer requirements. We use different materials in the wire diameter range from 0.2 to about 10 mm; 10 mm to 16 mm without lugs, but with tabs or threaded inserts. Rotation and torsion springs: in the range of dimensions, shapes and finishes. The combination of turns, thighs and shapes are virtually no limits. We process materials round, square and flat wire diameter range from 0.2 to about 6 mm. Larger wire diameter on request. Bent wire parts: We have an excellent infrastructure for the production of wire bending parts in a variety of shapes and finishes for medium and large series. We process materials in the diameter range from 0.2 mm to about 6 mm. Flat springs: leaf springs are metal mold parts which possess elastic properties, to clamp, hold or rest. The great diversity requires an enormous mobility and overview. We use different materials in thickness from 0.1 mm to 4 mm, width up to 300 mm (cold or hot worked). Other dimensions on request. Processing in hard condition or processing in soft condition with subsequent tempering.We manufacture flat spiral springs and disc springs. Stampings: We develop and manufacture for you Stampings according to your wishes and requirements. We advise you from the design to the mature part series. Our modern prototype workshop provides you with a short first sampling. The necessary tools are manufactured in our own workshop and our new punching and bending machines manufacture your parts at high speeds with maximum precision. Material thickness: Thickness 0.1 mm to 3 mm, Width up to 160 mm. Materials: For the production of your springs we process the different materials. - Alloyed and non-alloyed steel - Stainless steel - Copper and wrought copper alloys - Heat-resistant spring material
