Who we are
The company Metal Forster GmbH & Co. KG, based in 95666 Mitterteich, is a company with a long tradition. The first written reference is from the year 1735. In 1974 the company was young by William Forster. inherited from his father and has since expanded. In 2002 the company was transferred to the current legal form. Since that time, Mr. Christian Forster is co-owner and managing director. Currently about 90 people are employed in our company, which have an annual turnover of approximately EUR 11.5 million. Principle of our actions are quality and punctuality. The satisfaction of our clients is always at the center. Our company is divided into two divisions: 1 Metal (Fassadentechnik) This division is concerned with the design, manufacture and installation of windows, doors and facades in steel and aluminum for objects throughout the country and in neighboring countries.In addition, we also also specialized in the production of fire and smoke protection elements in steel and aluminum. 2 Sheet metal processing (laser and water jet cutting / folding) In this department, sheet metal design for renowned customers are, among others, made of the metal and engineering industry. Due to the high degree of automation, it is possible to create our economic offers in all batch sizes (from single part to mass production). Through the use of waterjet technology also enables us to utilize the standard steel materials, stainless steel and aluminum provide blanks of all conceivable materials such as stone, glass, ceramics, wood, insulation materials. Sheet metal working / performance spectrum: Fully automated laser cutting in sheet size 3,000 x 1,500 mm: - Steel up to 25mm - Stainless steel up to 15mm - Aluminium up to 10mm Water jet cutting in bars 4000 x 2,000 mm: - Almost all materials up to 90mm Shearing in the format 4000 x 5mm CNC bending with 4-axis back gauge, bending length 4000mm, press force 200 t Machining: drilling and countersinking Welding: MIG-/MAG-/WIG-Handschweißen Logistics: Car truck or freight forwarding
