Who we are

Re-discover steel at PETRI! Our story began in 1874 with the establishment of a trade company for steel. Crises, wars and economic miracles led to many highs and lows. But - then as it is now - working with metals is our unbroken passion. Customer focus and flexibility have always distinguished Gustav Petri & Co over the years. In the 80s, our focus shifted to the machine processing of metals. Modern machinery was setup gradually, with which we meet the high demands of our clients every day. Gustav Petri & Co. is now managed by the 3rd generation, Mr. Johannes Huber. Many well-known clients of the industry and trade see in him and in his capable team, a reliable, flexible and solution-oriented partner. In recent years, we have managed to add another pillar to our business with the development and production of storage systems for wood pellets. By consistently developing these and other proprietary products, we see the possibility of demonstrating our expertise and quality far beyond the borders of Austria.
