Our development In 2012, Hahn-Handels GmbH, a well-established supplier that had been on the market since 1979, was purchased by Mr. Helmut Abele. Until then, the company had focused on supplying C-quality components. With his knowledge built up over many years, Mr. Abele developed the company in the following years into a business partner that expanded its product portfolio to include B and A parts. While the parent company had mainly worked with a single supplier, the new Helmut Abele team succeeded in establishing a manufacturing network that now includes more than 10 production companies. The Czech Republic accounts for approximately 65 percent of production. Short distances to the production sites ensure personal relationships, i.e., quick coordination and consultation, insight into and control of production processes, and economically efficient transport routes. In addition, there are partnerships with companies in Hungary, Poland, Croatia, Romania, and Slovakia. Since summer 2024, we have also had our own in-house production facility. This enables us to respond even more flexibly, sustainably, and quickly to individual customer requests—a further step toward efficiency and customer proximity.
