Who we are
Our plants specialize in metal components in small, medium and large series as well as individual custom-made products. With our core competencies, we serve the daily needs of the commercial vehicle, agricultural machinery, construction, automotive and automotive supply industries. HÖRMANN Automotive GmbH consists of six high-performance companies with decades of experience in the development, production, assembly and logistics of components for the vehicle industry. Strategic business areas The business at HÖRMANN Automotive is divided into three strategic business areas: Truck, Off-Road and E-Mobility. In the "Truck" division, we specialize in the manufacture of frame and BiW components for commercial vehicles. In the commercial vehicle frame in particular, we cover a holistic technology portfolio through the manufacture of frame side members, frame add-on parts, welded assemblies and tubes and are available to our customers as a system partner.Due to our extensive technological competence, we provide our customers with valuable input and advice on cost-effective and innovative component design in the early phase of product development. The "Off-Road" division offers us a wide range of customer access through a broad technology portfolio. We specialize in flap systems for agricultural machinery and buses, tank systems for agricultural and construction machinery as well as complex welded groupings for off-road needs. Here, too, we stand by our customers in the area of product development as an active development partner, coming from our in-depth know-how in technology. Future mobility will be sustainably influenced by electrification and will enable new solutions in many of our customer industries. We meet these requirements and potentials with the aim of actively shaping future mobility, for example by assembling charging stations or components for electric vehicles.Accordingly, we feel committed to developing and delivering needs-based and at the same time innovative system solutions in the "E-Mobility" division, and we also consistently align our actions in the "Truck" and "Off-Road" areas accordingly.
