Who we are
We are a medium sized company with about 60 employees near Ingolstadt. The company Schermer has now been around 32 years. Our production focus lies in the production of precision parts (accuracy to 0.002 mm) for mechanical engineering, the aerospace industry and the automotive industry. In addition to high-precision individual parts and small series, we also manufacture complete equipment and tools. Our machining depth ranges from conventional turning / milling about the CNC-Drehen/CNC-Fräsen to grinding (flat, indoor and outdoor round, coordinates, etc.), wire EDM and waterjet cutting. Here, our range of materials from steel and stainless steel ranges over the non-ferrous metals, brass, red brass and copper up to the light metal such as aluminum and titanium. As a partner in our small group, we have a separate material including service providers, our sister company MVI (www.mvi-metall.de), which ensure rapid deployment of most raw materials and semi-finished products.Over a network, which we, together with our suppliers, we can offer our customers a wide range of heat treatment processes and surface coatings obtained from a single source. So we are as a supplier specializing in the most common heat treatment methods such as case hardening, nitriding and vacuum hardening. Our program offers among other things a complete machining in the field of manufacturing parts by: lathe parts, pistons, bushings, washers, rings, valve seat, coil, cone, spool, pipes, sleeves, shafts, axles, hubs, spool, spring plate, pin, roller, roller , bolts, screws nozzles, grinding mandrels, sizing, spindle, aperture, mandrels, lid, insert flange. In addition to our machining capabilities, we offer our customers even complete assemblies such as measuring devices, test equipment, gauges and mounting devices.
