The company HSS was founded at the end of the 1950s. For five decades, well-known mechanical engineering companies in Cologne and the surrounding area were supplied with built-in components from the south of Cologne. In 1986, Karl-Heinz Strumpen Jr. joined the company and relieved the company founder in day-to-day business, which brought a breath of fresh air to production. In 2014, it was clear that further developments at the old location were not possible. We purchased a plot of land near the new railway town of Opladen and built a spacious hall for administration and production. This was purchased in mid-2016, everything became more transparent and clearer, and there was finally space for our extensive, wide-ranging material warehouse of all common materials, so that we can respond immediately to customer requests here. today Today, we are presenting a mix of conventional and CNC manufacturing that is rare anymore. The best quality results are achieved, which are reflected in the supplier evaluations of our customers. Here, we consistently rank first in terms of quality, adherence to delivery and deadlines and willingness to cooperate; 98% performance is unparalleled. The flow of complaints with us is close to zero. Our offer includes surface finishing, we anodize, chromate, nickel and chrome. We partly work with our clients' design departments, so demand is often “the day before yesterday”. Karl-Heinz Strumpen, who will be available to the company for a few more years, is responsible for calculation, purchasing and work preparation. Michaela Strumpen heads the commercial department and sales.
