Company History: 1965, shortly after his master's examination, the present owner and manager Manfred Kappes became self-employed and dropped two apprentices the foundation for the Kappes Maschinenbau GmbH and the metal casting GmbH in Pfaffhausen / Bavaria and Alko cast aluminum GmbH in drive / Thuringia. We maintain, now 2600 products for our customers and deliver 10% to other European countries.Our clientele include the engineering, sun protection technology, Elektronikbau, vehicle and vehicle bodies, construction, air gun manufacturers, the German Federal Railways, facade, ladders and scaffolding manufacturer, drying plant manufacturers, car wash builders, equipment manufacturers and many more. Foundry: Permanent mold casting is poured by hand, usually with the aid of hydraulic cylinders, the mold opened.
