Who we are

MAKIM has been founded in 1982 in Ankara Turkey and now operates in 3 main sectors, which are investment casting, access control systems and electromechanical devices. MAKIM has been manufacturing investment cast parts since 2000 and now operates in a closed area of 2500 square meters with around 110 employees overall in Ankara, Turkey. MAKIM offers parts from mainly steel, stainless steel, cobalt and nickel base alloys; from 5 gr to 20 kg by weight depending on the size. MAKIM has a manufacturing system that allows to produce from very low batches to moderately high batches. The manufacturing capacity is 600 tons/year for steel alloys. MAKIM serves the industries of general machinery, medical implants, valves and pumps, energy, automotive and food industries. MAKIM manufactures parts for domestic as well as international markets and exports 33% of the production mainly to Germany, France, Netherlands, United Kingdom, USA, Belgium, Hungary and Sweden. MAKIM provides customers, only castings as well as fully finished parts including machining, heat treatment, surface treatment. MAKIM has in house tool and machine shop. MAKIM has strict quality control requirements, has in house NDT facilities including Radioscopic Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection and Fluorescent Penetrant Inscpection with certified quality control personnel according to ASNT-SNT-TC-1A. MAKIM holds ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Certificate, ISO 13485 for medical devices, AD2000 Merkblatt W0 for pressure purpose castings, ISO 14001 for environment and ISO 18001 for health and safety.
