Who we are
The productive µ Hermann Grossmann laid the foundations for precision manufacturing in Dresden in 1863 by founding a machine factory. In 1959, the name MIKROMAT was created from the merger of two plants. Since the beginning, it has been about precision manufacturing for milling and drilling large parts and high-precision screw and thread grinding. In addition to our precision, drilling and milling machines, we produce a range of different screw and thread grinding machines up to a grinding length of 2000 mm. Internal thread grinding is realized by installing a special internal grinding device. In addition to test processing with our grinding machines, our grinding center also carries out customer orders with the highest precision for internal and external contours.
