Who we are

MKW was founded in 1960 and has been 100 percent family-owned ever since. MKW Holding GmbH unites the two divisions MKW Kunststofftechnik GmbH and MKW Oberflächen+Draht GmbH. The MKW Group employs around 500 people at five locations. In Weibern and Haag am Hausruck, components are manufactured for a wide range of industries in the core competencies of metal, plastic, powder coating and sanitary. MKW is the leading toilet seat manufacturer in Europe and one of the largest powder coating companies in Austria. The production site in Haag am Hausruck is the competence center for sheet metal processing and surface finishing. As a system provider in the field of aluminum and steel processing with subsequent powder coating, we supply everything from a single source, from the idea to the design to completion. Sheet metal processing On a production area of 3,300 m² we cut, bend, deburr, weld, drill, and grind sheet metal parts of all kinds according to your individual specifications. Our processing sizes in sheet metal processing Materials: sheet steel, aluminum & stainless steel Dimensions: up to 6,000 x 2,000 mm We process up to 2,000 tons of aluminium, steel and stainless steel every year. Powder Coating With state-of-the-art machinery and specifically applied coating technologies, we coat 3 million m² of metal surfaces per year. The quality of the powder coating, gloss level, and surface texture can be individually selected.
