Who we are
Moravské Kovárny, a.s. Hot formed steel drop forged parts We, Moravské kovárny, a.s. Jihlava, are a joint stock company with a long tradition. The main shareholder, the family business company PENN GmbH based in Krems an der Donau in Austria, owns 100% of the shares. PENN GmbH specializes in the cutting of forged parts. 95% of our products are intended for export, particularly to the EU. We focus on the production of hot-formed steel drop forged parts for the automotive industry. A large proportion of production is intended for the construction and agricultural machinery industries. Our company is pursuing a long-term investment strategy, which has a very positive effect on the required quality standard, increasing productivity and improving environmental protection! Investments are constantly being made in new technologies. In order to achieve the level of quality required by our customers and with an emphasis on environmental protection, our company has implemented an integrated management system that meets the requirements of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. The area of occupational safety and health (ASchG) and the area of fire protection (BS) are also a full part of this system. Planning and production control are ensured using modern IT technology. Our goal is to be one of the best European blacksmiths.
