Who we are
In 2006, Oskar Rüegg Bulgaria Ltd. was founded in Stara Zagora as an extended workbench of Oskar Rüegg AG for the manual and tool-assisted assembly of components. In the first years, the company was managed by the owning family itself in order to ensure the sustainable further development of ORBG. In each of the years after its foundation, the company has been able to show multi-digit sales growth and this has led over time to ORBG evolving from a pure assembly company into a more complex business entity, incorporating in its portfolio, among others, the following industrial services: Project Management, Procurement, Quality Assurance and Logistics services. During the last years, the highly motivated management team has also been independently developing customer portfolios, mainly in the field of assembly of sub-assemblies and production of stamped parts. In order to meet the high quality management requirements of our customers, the Bulgarian company was certified for the first time in 2009 according to ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 9001:2008 by the Swiss SQS. On the basis of annual audits, the high standards are constantly proven. The company currently has a production area of 4800 m2 and employs more than 230 people.
