Company description

Picotec GmbH Metalltechnik is a medium-sized company based in Nesselwang. After being founded in 2018, the company was initially located on the ground floor of the founder's residential building. Since this was not a long-term solution due to the lack of space and certain other negative location factors, the move to the newly built hall in the local industrial park took place in September 2023. In addition to the two managing directors Hans-Peter Endras (shareholder-managing director) and Harald Vogt, six employees are employed. Nine CNC milling machines are used in contract manufacturing to produce components according to customer requirements and drawings, as well as to optimize or rework existing workpieces through milling. The part size to be processed is up to 700mm. With the help of troweling and mass finishing machines, the company is able to grind the surfaces of the manufactured workpieces free of milling marks after milling in order to achieve an improved optical result and thus fully meet customer requirements. In addition, the edges of the workpieces are rounded and thus sanded burr-free, which is particularly important for customers in the electronics industry, as there must be no conductive contact due to a protruding burr. In order to complete the value chain, we work closely with selected partners in the areas of turning, surface grinding and surface treatment. Since machine tools of various manufacturers, designs and sizes are used in the company, the production of individual and series parts can be carried out cost-effectively for the benefit of the customer. Since the range of materials that are processed in the company ranges from aluminum and steel to fibreglass composites and plastics, entire components can also be completely manufactured and assembled in the in-house assembly area, at the customer's request. The customer base includes companies from the fields of laser and electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and measurement technology.
