PLASNOR – European Manufacturing Partner for Large-Format Thermoformed Plastic Parts Plasnor helps European OEMs manufacture custom technical plastic components, specialising in large-format vacuum thermoforming, medium-volume production and integrated manufacturing solutions. Our value proposition is based on three capabilities: large-part expertise, integrated processes and production flexibility. Large-format thermoforming We manufacture medium and large thermoformed components up to approximately 3,000 × 2,000 × 900 mm, from prototypes and pre-series to recurring medium-volume production. Integrated manufacturing Plasnor combines the key processes required to develop and manufacture a finished thermoplastic component: -Product co-design and technical support -Prototype and production moulds/tooling -Thermoplastic sheet extrusion and co-extrusion -Vacuum thermoforming -CNC trimming and machining -Component and subassembly assembly Having our own extrusion and co-extrusion capabilities allows us to adapt the sheet to the application, including material, thickness, colour, surface finish and multilayer configurations. Flexible solutions for industrial applications We process thermoplastics including ABS, HIPS/PS, ABS/PMMA, ABS/PC, HDPE, PP and PET-G, as well as recycled-material solutions when project specifications allow. Typical components include covers, housings, fairings, guards, interior and exterior panels, bumpers, transport trays, containers and other custom-made technical plastic parts. We supply customers in Bus & Coach, automotive, railway, caravans and motorhomes, electric vehicles, agricultural and heavy machinery, industrial equipment, logistics, healthcare and general industry. Plasnor works directly with purchasing, engineering and product-development teams, supporting projects from material selection and design optimisation through to serial production.
