Who we are
With more than 430 employees, the RENK plant in Rheine – the second-largest site of the RENK Group after the company headquarters in Augsburg – has consistently specialized in the production of gear and clutch solutions for customers worldwide. The plant in Rheine was established in 1986 through the spin-off of the "Industrial and Marine Gears" product division from Augsburg into RENK-TACKE GmbH. In 1996, the TACKE shares were fully acquired. Since then, drive technology has been developed and manufactured for a wide variety of industries and applications, focusing on the generation, transmission, and control of mechanical motion in machines and vehicles. RENK Rheine supplies, among others, renowned customers in the fields of energy generation, oil & gas, the steel industry, and marine technology.
