EXPERIENCE The foundry was founded in 1947 for the production of castings for the shipbuilding and mechanical engineering. Sand cast steel castings GmbH supplies the world today, for example, from high-and heat-resistant, cold-resistant, corrosion-, acid-and heat-resistant steels and cast steel for general purposes. INNOVATION In recent years, involved extensive restructuring with focus on core competencies and a clear orientation on know-how-intensive single-piece and small batch production. As a result, a flexible, innovative company has emerged with 200 motivated and qualified employees. ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY With its own model center, modern melting and heat treatment furnaces, high-performance blasting and Arc-Air systems and manipulator technology and a connected machining center with CNC technology, has the sand steel casting GmbH for the technical equipment for the production of high-quality cast steel. QUALITY Quality is an ongoing process, in which the sand steel casting GmbH attaches great importance to a reliable casting technique which incorporates the findings of the computer-based simulation of solidification. A quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 ensures the reliability of the organizational and production processes. This is complemented by the admission of well-known inspection companies and customers.
