About Sbaffi Officina Meccanica Srl
Who we are
The company was founded in 1979 when Giuseppe, at the age of 25 and after a decade of experience in the industry, decided to strike out on his own. He set up a small workshop behind his home, purchasing his first lathe and traditional milling machine. Operations remained there until 1995, when production moved a short distance away to the industrial zone of Trontano—the company's current location. Today, the company operates out of a 400 m² facility and has invested in new machinery and equipment. Giuseppe has been joined by his son, Davide, who holds a degree in mechanical engineering (awarded in July 2016). The company currently provides contract machining services—including turning, milling, welding, and assembly—across a wide range of sectors, competitively handling everything from large production runs to single, custom parts. Recent investments in 4- and 5-axis machining centers, a new live-tooling lathe, and CAD-CAM software have enabled a significant leap in quality, allowing the company to better meet customer demands. These capabilities are complemented by an established network of suppliers for surface, heat, and galvanic treatments, as well as painting services.
