SHELMO - CUSTOM WIRE AND METAL COMPONENTS FOR REFRIGERATION AND RETAIL SHELMO is a Polish manufacturer of custom-made wire and metal components for the commercial refrigeration, retail equipment and shopfitting industries. We manufacture according to customer drawings, technical specifications, reference samples or defined dimensions. Our focus is on projects that require flexibility, reliable communication and precise adaptation of the component to a specific appliance, display system or retail fixture. We support customers from the initial technical assessment and sample production through to regular series deliveries. PRODUCT RANGE Our manufacturing range includes: • Wire shelves for refrigerated display cabinets, refrigerator cabinets and freezers • Wire baskets for refrigeration equipment and retail fixtures • Wire dividers and compartment separators • Wire grids, panels and protective elements • Display hooks, hangers and other wire accessories • Custom wire components manufactured according to drawings • Metal fittings, frames and subassemblies for retail displays • Replacement wire components for service and maintenance All products are manufactured according to individual project requirements. We do not limit customers to standard catalogue dimensions. MATERIALS AND SURFACE FINISHES Depending on the application and operating environment, components can be manufactured from: • Carbon steel • Stainless steel Available surface finishes include: • Powder coating • Polyethylene coating • Zinc plating • Chrome plating The finish is selected according to the required corrosion resistance, appearance, mechanical protection and operating conditions. Colour, dimensions, wire arrangement, mounting points and other technical parameters can be adapted to the customer’s specification. MANUFACTURING Depending on the component, the production process may include wire straightening and cutting, bending, forming, resistance and spot welding, manual welding, assembly and surface finishing. We manufacture both simple wire elements and more complex welded structures. Each project is assessed individually to select an efficient manufacturing method and achieve repeatable dimensions throughout the production series. SMALL AND MEDIUM PRODUCTION RUNS SHELMO specialises in small and medium series. This allows us to handle projects that may be too specialised, too variable or too limited in volume for large-scale mass-production suppliers. We can support: • New product development • Prototype and sample production • Small and medium production series • Recurring deliveries • Replacement and service components • Modifications of existing wire components For repeat orders, production can be planned according to the customer’s purchasing schedule and operational requirements. TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND SAMPLING Before starting serial production, we can prepare a sample component for verification. The sample allows the customer to check: • Dimensions and fit • Mounting points • Wire spacing and geometry • Structural stability • Surface finish and colour • Compatibility with the target appliance or display system Sampling reduces implementation risk and enables technical corrections before the entire production series is launched. If complete technical documentation is not available, we can carry out an initial feasibility assessment based on a reference component, photograph, drawing or principal dimensions. This service is particularly useful when an original spare part is no longer available from the equipment manufacturer.
