Who we are
The Swiss Beam AG specializes in sophisticated, customized solutions in the field of electron beam welding. We work for clients from various branches of the MEM industry, including the plant and equipment, the auto industry, the energy sector and the aerospace industry. In addition, we offer our services for special applications such as sensor and vacuum technology but also for the medical industry. Electron beam welding is the highest quality fusion welding - process and the special lies in the high power density of the beam and the resulting deep welding effect. In this bundled electrons are accelerated by high dc voltage in vacuo. The method allows high welding speeds with narrow heat affected zone and great depth. Due to the specific heat input emerge slim and thus low-distortion, almost shrink-free seams. It can with high precision and excellent quality seam welded small and large wall thicknesses (100 mm thickness radiates up). It is used when at low heat input and minimal distortion metallic materials, groups of different metals and special metals to add. Flexible design options for the construction permit simple and inexpensive components.
