About VertisLAB
Who we are
VertisLAB is an engineering and design office based in Bosnia and Herzegovina, working as an external partner and extended workbench for design teams and industrial companies. We take on CAD design, detailing and reverse engineering on a contract basis, from individual components to complete assemblies and machines. Services: 3D design of parts and assemblies, production-ready technical drawings (detail, assembly and exploded views), bills of materials and assembly documentation, sheet metal design, and adaptation or modification of existing designs. We work in SolidWorks and AutoCAD/DraftSight. A particular focus is reverse engineering. Using our own 3D scanning technology (laser and structured-light scanners), we digitize existing parts and rebuild them as clean, parametric CAD models, even when no drawings or original data remain. We work to ISO and DIN standards as well as to customer-specific drawing templates and requirements. Data exchange is handled via STEP, Parasolid, DXF, DWG and PDF, as well as native SolidWorks formats. Our designs are production-oriented and aligned with the available machinery and manufacturing processes. Technical responsibility lies with a graduate mechanical engineer (Dipl.-Ing.). Communication is available in German and English. Project data is stored separately and securely per client, and we sign a non-disclosure agreement before the start of any project. Completed reference projects range from reverse engineering of individual parts and tooling design to the full mechanical design of production machines currently in operation.
