Who we are
For decades, the Harzgerode and Sömmerda sites have stood for maximum precision in metal processing. As a specialized automotive supplier, Bohai Automotive manufactures advanced lightweight aluminum components, which are used in chassis, transmissions and bodies of well-known international vehicle manufacturers. From large series for the Volkswagen Group to high-end components for premium brands such as Ferrari. With around 600 dedicated employees, the plants combine technological excellence in aluminum die casting with the flexibility of tradition-conscious locations. In the midst of the current structural change in the automotive industry, Bohai Automotive is actively taking on the transformation task through technological adaptation, agile processes and targeted development.
