Welcome to the Kempten iron foundry Adam Honig AG. We produce high quality casting products in the cast iron materials cast iron with spheroidal graphite (DIN EN 1563) and cast iron with lamellar graphite (DIN EN 1561). Our products are used in the industries of machine tools, textile, printing and special machine construction and in the area of rail vehicles, in the energy and wind power plant construction, power transmission, the oil industry, the pump construction, the engine and the automotive vehicle. Casting qualities: EN-GJL-150 to -350 and DIN EN-GJS - 400-15 to -700-3 Casting: - Machine molding (sand green) - Untouchables form of investment bale size 500 x 650x 300/280 mm - Turning molding plant box size . 600 x 600 x 350/300 mm to 900 x 1.200x 400/450 mm - Furanharzformerei with unit weights . from 1 kg to 8500 kg and box sizes up to 4,500 x 3,000 x 2,500 mm Melting furnaces: Electric Melting Shop: - Two ABP center frequency Tandemschmelzanalagen connected in parallel with each * 2 furnaces á 3000 kg capacity * 2 furnaces á 6000 kg capacity - Fully automatic, computationally-controlled Gattierungszusammenstellung - Melting process center computer with process-integrated melting and analyzes evaluation Measuring / Testing: Metallographic and metallurgical material tests, spectral analysis, mechanical tests, such as hardness, train and notched impact test; destructive tests such as ultrasound and crack detection using the dye penetration, hexagon measuring machine (three-coordinate measuring machine). Heat treatment: Stress relieving, annealing, microstructure treatment. Color treatment: Coating with 2-component coating in electrostatic paint spraying Diving system with one component varnish Mechan.
