Who we are
MENDI Metal Innovation Group is a company based in The Basque Country (North Spain) with over 50 years of experience producing complete Hydraulic, Pneumatic and mechanical assembled units. Due to accumulated experience during all these years, we have specialized on mechanizing components of different materials, big size tubular components within high dimensional requirements and high precision inner diameter finishing (honing). We work under drawing, satisfying customer requirements and MENDI guarantees the delivery of our products (tested) within the deadline agreed. Therefore, we have started to offer our services and manufactured products to other Press Manufacturers abroad. Recently, MENDI has created its own sign of quality which is TUBULAR ZERO which defines by 6 characteristics our more valuable strengths related to high precision machining of tubular components. Apart of that, we are currently developing a new Business Unit by integrating a welding specialist company within MENDI Group. On the other hand, in order to ensure customer satisfaction, we are able to certificate the quality of our services by means of a ZEISS CMM machine. We are also constantly investing on machinery,technology or personnel,thus improving and optimizing fabrication processes.

We are responsible of the whole manufacturing process including raw material procurement, welding, machining process (including honing), dimensional inspection and assembling.

PULP & PAPER INDUSTRY
DescriptionHoning processes for shells of different sizes and materials like stainless steel, bronze, Inconel, etc… . Honing capacity from Ø76 to Ø1220 mm up to 12.000 mm long.
Maintenance for shell rolls by honing the inner diameter removing existent scratches.
Machining of large parts used in the paper industry.
Manufacture and maintenance jobs for hydraulic cylinders of different sizes.

SEPARATION TECHNOLOGY
DescriptionVast experience machining parts made of stainless steel, duplex and super-duplex. We are responsible of the whole fabrication process:
-Raw material procurement.
-Elimination of residual tensions by vibration.
-Inspection using penetrating liquids.
-Machining of parts.
-Surface finishing on lathe (Ø max.= 1430 mm/L max.= 9.000 mm).
-Honing for inner diameters (Ø max.= 1260 mm/L max.= 12.000mm).
-Dimensional verification by CMM (ZEISS).

DescriptionJobs oriented to pipes which must be honed for fluid conduction.
Machining of "venturi" tubes used for measuring the flow of liquids.
Due to a new investment on machinery, capacity for making threads on the extreme of very long pipes.
With a future investment on a multitask machine, capacity for machining other high precisión required parts oriented to the petrochemical industry.
