Who we are
METAZ as located near Prague, about 20m south. The company exists since 1931 and has about 400 employees today. The company has two main sections - aluminum casting and steel casting and central areas, such as its own tool making, engineering, quality assurance, laboratories, etc. Serial processing is secured if necessary in cooperation with proven, experienced processing suppliers ALUMINUM FOUNDRY has annual capacity of about 1600 - 2000 tons of aluminum castings.Low-pressure casting is the dominant technology, classical gravity die casting is with us but still welcome. For smaller cast shows and for special purposes (solid parts) METAZ also has a sand casting area with machine frame shapes (approx 600x1000mm) in Ritter machines. Taylor made licensed technology of precise casting in plaster is used for production of the Turbo wheels Röhlinge in large series. Aluminum range has ISO 9001:2000 certification and ISO TS 16949:2002 Our customers are mainly from the automotive industry (different carrier, carrier arms, housing, cover, adapter, pump housing, etc), electrical industry (cans, lids, aluminum box, etc), mechanical engineering (motor bracket, carrier, aluminum spindle, belt cover, etc) from the telecommunications sector (antenna technology - holder, carrier, etc) Kompressorenbau (connecting rods, etc) etc STEEL FOUNDRY has annual capacity is only about 2000-2500 tons of steel castings and oriented
