Who we are
We speak German and English. The origins of TBP date back to 1960, when the production of metal goods and metal novelties was organized under the then company Klemos. Gradually, production was expanded to include Bowden cables for bicycles, motorcycles, and cars, as well as plastic injection molding and extrusion. The company from Lenart acquired modern technology and new knowledge, evolving into a respected company for the independent production and marketing of Bowden cables for the European automotive industry. TBP, Joint Stock Company for Bowden Cables and Plastic Products Lenart (abbreviated TBP, d.d.) was established from Klemos in 1992. Organized production facilities, modern technological equipment, and skilled professional staff enable the production of 70 million Bowden cables per year. Most of the products are exported to foreign markets. Thanks to a skilled team of young professionals in the development and research department, the company can compete for the most demanding projects and remains a trusted development supplier and partner for manufacturers in the automotive industry. Well-trained and highly qualified staff guarantee well-organized production, which is also confirmed by the achieved quality standards of the European automotive industry: ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, and ISO 14001. The business process is integrated with a modern information system that provides the company with flexibility in communication with buyers and suppliers. The use of the CATIA system enables accurate and rapid information transfer, particularly in the development of new products. TBP is connected with suppliers in Slovenia, whose products and services are part of the automotive industry's supply chain. We work with many European suppliers of semi-finished products. All this is the reason why we are the direct supplier of Bowden cables, plastic, metal, and laminated parts for automotive manufacturers VW, AUDI, PORSCHE, SEAT, ŠKODA, and LAMBORGHINI. Through system suppliers BROSE, VALEO, ArvinMeritor, CIMOS, BRANO, DELPHI, Dr. Schneider, KICO, WITTE, BENTELER, BÖCO, and DECOMA, we also supply other automotive companies such as JAGUAR, BMW, DAIMLER, VOLVO, JAGUAR, BENTLEY, LAND ROVER, FORD, and GM. We are proud to say that our business partners recognize TBP Gesellschaft für Bowdenzüge und Plastikerzeugnisse Aktiengesellschaft Lenart as a modern European company. The company is fully owned by the management and specialist staff and a group of workers of TBP. The majority of the generated profit is directed towards the development of the company, primarily into the modernization of technological equipment. The company management, with the support of the owners, aims for a constant positive development trend of TBP, which is significant for our local environment and the entire region of Slovenske Gorice.
