SL Gleitlagertechnik GmbH concerns itself with the production, development, construction and distribution of self-lubricating, maintenance-free plain bearings of metal, metal alloys, sintered-powder metal alloys, plastics and combinations of these materials. The product range of our company includes conventional plain bearings on bronze basis with lubricating pins and various lubricant combinations, depending on application, as well as newly developed products with 99,9 per cent super clean and chemically neutral graphite in order to avoid electrolytic corrosion as it may occur for instance with the use of natural graphite which has rest solvents. As a part of the International A. Berger Holding, we are the producer of high precision turning parts. Our company is located in the south-west of Poland, in Kędzierzyn-Koźle, between Wroclaw and Cracow. At present, our team consists of 350 young and experienced people while our machine park counts 120 machines. In Berger we specialize in a wide range of processes including turning, hard turning, grinding, milling, heat treatment, rolling and broaching. Our production possibilities are from 4mm up to 240mm diameter and we turn parts from steel bars, forged parts or sintered materials using different kinds of steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper or Inconel alloys.
