The company “Hafelder Kunststoffwerk” was founded in 1945 by Mr. Ing. Zittmayr in Hafeld (Upper Austria). Back then, only plastic injection machines were used (source drinking basin production). In 1990, the company was acquired by Friedrich Gruber and continued to operate as a plastic injection moulding plant. Later, the first spare parts for spring basins were produced in-house. (First machine - Emco 342S). More and more lathes were gradually purchased, including two machining centers. From 2000, the company moved to the new premises of a former office furniture factory. Currently, around 100,000 turned parts are manufactured every month from a wide variety of materials such as brass, stainless steel, copper, cast iron, plastic, titanium, steel, etc. In 2002, another turning shop (Ing. Arzberger in Trumau), including machines and customers, was taken over. As a result, our company was almost doubled in size and renamed Hafelder Präzisionteile GmbH.
