The company started in 1998 with a shop dedicated to small moulds for consumers market. In 2006, the addition of 2 CNC milling centers along with the introduction in the automotive market, created the capacity for higher production rates and increased precision parts. The company Jakob Schäfer was in Kaiserslautern, Mühlstr in 1926. 9 of machinist - champion Jacob Schaefer founded.
