TAUGÉP Machine Manufacturing and Trading Co. Ltd. is a successful company with more than 30 years experiences in the machine production business, located in South-Hungary. The company was established in the fifties and operated as a repair workshop for agricultural machines. TAURUS Hungarian Rubber Factory acquired and joined it to his organization in 1976 and functioned as TAURUS Machine Factory for 14 years. In consequence the TAURUS Rubber privatizing in 1990 the machine factory got in private ownership and continued his activity as TAUGÉP Ltd. We are making mainly welding and assembling fixtures, jigs. How we work, here is a sample process: - In case of order we start the design and few days later we send the 3D models to our customers for approval, - In case of any request we modify the design and send it again to our customers, - We start the production when our customer accepted the design, - Usually we make the first tests – first workpiece in the fixtures – together with our customers in our factory (Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) in Budapest) – but nowadays because of COVID, we do it through a live web connection or skip this step (as requested by the customer), - After this test we hand over the fixtures/manipulators to our customers in our factory but in case of request we can organize the delivery to our customer’s site. We also make low or medium series production.
