Frantzis Bros is a company established in 1957 in Thessaloniki, Greece. The company is manufacturing mechanical parts for various industrial sectors. The parts produced are gears, shafts, couplings, complex CNC parts and more. We can manufacture prototypes or large quantity batches, consisting of only one item or an assembly of different items. All parts are produced using CNC, conventional machines, and many years of experience in manufacturing. Being a team of young people, we are constantly focused in improving and perfecting the manufacturing process to meet the needs of our clients.

Our company was founded in 2000 as a sole proprietorship. In the beginning we worked on disk-controlled long and turret lathes. In 2005 our company was converted into a GmbH and we started to procure CNC-controlled Swiss type lathes in order to meet customer requirements as well as possible and also to be able to produce more complex and precise parts. Currently we only produce with CNC-controlled universal and Swiss-type lathes. All of our lathes have driven tools and a third axis so that we can also produce milled, cross-drilled parts. The areas of use of the parts we manufacture include: medical instrument manufacture, electronics, automotive industry, manufacture of doors and windows, as well as faucets and valves. We process raw materials of different quality, mostly from finished bars. VAS-GmbH was founded in 2001 and the main fields of activity are machining / welding on the one hand and vacuum technology on the other. In order to satisfy customers through quality, adherence to delivery dates and prices in line with the market, we have introduced a lean, non-certified QM system, use a powerful inventory management system and have acquired modern machinery. We have also established a branch in Bosnia at our headquarters. Furthermore, plants and plant modules can be designed, constructed, manufactured and put into operation according to customer specifications. Our staff has grown to around 35 employees, including 4 engineers, and we use CAD_Cam software for designing and programming. We are also always ready to go unconventional ways, to make prototypes or to develop or improve and help to design components according to manufacturing-specific criteria.
