In conversations with our customers, we are often asked where our name comes from, how it originated and what it means, because the one might also suspect in the electronics sector. Basically, that's not such a bad combination. But most plastics are very good electrical insulators and are therefore often used in the electrical and electronics. However, the name Polytron derives from the suffix "tron" the products sold by us plastics (Nylatron, Acetron, Ketron, etc.) and from the prefix "poly" as an abbreviation for "polymer" - from plastic. Actually the name is but remember our roots.
