In the early eighties, MPE developed a production in all precision engineering sectors at high technology levels, especially in the automotive one. In 1997 the company moved to the current factory and achieved a production capacity of 15 million components per year.

In May 1997, our company has been established under the former name and in the structure of a general partnership as WBB Hofemeister & Partner GbR by the shareholders Michael Hofemeister, Uwe Fischer, Jens Rimasch and Michael Stieger. Our main program is production of Al sand and permanent mould castings in a total weight of 850tons per year destined for mechanical, textile, building and automobile industry, art casting and equipment for towns and municipalities. Our mechanical work-shop provides full cutting of aluminium casts and other materials (brass, steel, plactic and others). History of our company Tradition of Kovolit Česká dates back to 1936 when we started with building and production of drink fittings and bell-casting. Bell-casting had been done by Mr Manousek by 1953. Afer that this production was moved to Zbraslav. The production of drink fittings was finished in 1990. Present situation Nowadays Kovolit Česká specializes in production of aluminium sandcasting and moulds. Our 50 years´ experience in this field represents profound knowledge that can be seen in quality and accuracy of our deliveries. Total annual production is roughly 900tons of Al moulds per year.
