High-quality and extensive range of products in sheet metal forming and sheet metal work form the solid foundation of August BERTRAMS GMBH for many decades. Due to the personnel and equipment performance monthly 1200 tons of material are currently being processed in our sheet metal processing centers in Cologne and the Thuringian Berka. Through the use of CNC punching machines, 3-D lasers, CNC shearing, CNC press brakes, MIG-MAG, spot, bolts and resistance welding equipment single parts are manufactured to the finished part. Order processing, production planning and construction are performed with PPS, CAD and CAM. All areas are subject to the quality management system.

In 1990 Karl Kampka founded his company Karl Kampka – Chemischer Betrieb in a small garage on the premises of his employer at that time. At first consisting of himself, his family and a colleague, over the past few years the enterprise has grown into a company employing more than 60 persons now. Because of the company’s successful work, the production area was expanded from 700 sq.m. to 1000 sq.m. in 2001, separating the black finishing from the phosphating department which had been located in one production building until then.
