The company has a large fleet of numerically controlled machine tools that includes numerous turning stations with multi-axis machines, for shooting with motorized tools and milling with single-pallet/multi-pallet machines, as well as robotic islands for the mass production of turned and milled parts. The variety of tools available allows the company to process materials of all types: automatic, cemented, tempered, tempered, stainless steels (303, 304, 316, 316Ti), aluminum alloys, brass, bronze, bakelite, nylon, delrin and castings. In addition to turning and milling, complementary processes are carried out such as drilling, threading to remove chips or by rolling, boring, broaching and grinding. Heat treatments and surface finishes are entrusted to a network of specialized local partners. To optimize every phase of the production cycle, the company always keeps its quality system under control, fully and precisely ensuring the requests of its customers.

The company dates its origins back to 1960, when the Metal Craft Workshop (later ITAS) was established as part of the Ivanečko Ladanje Mines. In the beginning, the company produced accessories for machine tools for companies such as Friz Heckert from Germany and Prvomajska in Zagreb. ITAS began producing its first machines in the mid-1970s. Initially, these were simpler, single-purpose machines such as edge grinders and drill sharpeners. Later, the company began producing universal milling machines and tool sharpening machines. The first NC/CNC machine tools and accessories were manufactured at the end of the 1980s, using both in-house solutions and modern global technological advancements.vDuring this period — a significant leap forward for the company — CNC milling machines and NC rotary indexing tables were developed. Under its current name, ITAS-PRVOMAJSKA d.d., the company has been operating since January 1st, 2007. The company covers an area of 25,860 m² and employs 116 people. We are a family business company ROMEKS from Slovenia we are CNC turned part producer and fastener supplier. Our production is based on CNC lathes and swiss type machines (langdreher machines), which have 2 spindles (kanals) and drive tools.
