The company Willy Hörr was founded in 1948 at the site in Ummendorf. The small engineering company was reorganized under the leadership of Klaus Hörr in 1970 to a rotating part production company. With the establishment of Hörr precision metal GmbH in 1991, the Managing Director Klaus Wöhl has introduced CNC technology in manufacturing. The former 8 jobs were until today, also due to the introduction of shift working may be increased to more than 22.
