Werner Hübner GmbH is an SME in northern Germany and has been working as a contract manufacturer on the market since 1975. We have 30 state-of-the-art CNC turning and milling centers, three CNC sawing centers and a fully air-conditioned measuring room with four CNC measuring machines. Our high torque motors are based on the Elaphe electromagnetic topology, which enables all of the desired properties of an in-wheel electric motor. The core innovation in the electromagnetic part was developed in cooperation with the accomplished Slovene physicist, innovator and philosopher Mr. Andrej Detela and is part of a 20 year old vision that has been brought to life by the Elaphe team. The company was founded in 1961 by Mr. Roland Smith in Untersteinach. Within the framework of an asset deal, the company IK Blacksmith GmbH has bought the company on 01/05/2014. At the company's site in 95369 Untersteinach about 40 skilled workers work on modern and high-precision CNC lathes, grinding, milling and EDM. We produce individual parts and small series as well as special machinery parts and special clamping tools according to customer requirements. Our customers are global engineering industry and automotive suppliers.

We grind and manufacture mechanical components since 1981. Our facilities house 48 grinding machine, handling components from just 4mm up to 5.000mm in length and 2.000mm in diameter. Together with our sister company, which provides heat treatment services, we can manufacture components based on your drawings and manage complex machining, coatings and surface treatments, as well as dimensional and Non Destructive testing and certification. We can manufacture parts with a precision of up to 0,001mm.

BLEN - which stands for the company's founder Ruppert Blaum and Thomas Engel. In the two spin-masters since 1986 is all about his own company - from the sideline for multi-shift operation, from start-ups to the 20-member team.
