Hans Breuckmann founded our company in July 1966. In his one-man operation, he manufactured permanent mould casting parts from brass and silicon tombac in self-built furnaces. He gathered extensive practical experience while working as operations manager in a leading medium-sized enterprise. We are now in our second generation under the leadership of Volker Breuckmann and work with 80 employees to achieve joint success. The traditional permanent mould casting process has been supplemented by pressure die casting technology for heavy metals. Our range is completed by in-house mould construction and toolmaking, CNC machining technology and HSC milling technology. We are able to cover a complete work cycle with all required production steps, from designing a cast to mechanical processing. This provides us with direct access to all departments, which guarantees high quality and flexibility. The die is already cast for the future of our traditional company. Almos d.o.o. was founded in 2001 as a private green field investment. Our core business is the production of high pressure aluminium die casting parts of various fields of use. Due to the need of increasing the volume of production and to constantly improve the quality of our products, in 2015 a project was started to build a new production hall and purchasing of new machines, which will increase the capacity and quality of production, as well as the number of employees. The project was completed in 2017 and the current production capacity is 2500 tonnes per year. By constantly improving working conditions, improving quality and increasing productivity, our goal is to be a reliable partner to our customers. Casting We are currently casting parts in varying dimensions and mass, from 0,03 up to 5,2 kg. We are capable of casting parts with a weight of max. 15 kg. At the moment we have 11 high pressure die casting machines ranging from 200t to 1350t. During the process of high pressure die casting, metal alloy is injected at high speed and high pressure into the mould. The high pressure die casting process allows for producing high amounts of thin walled and other complex shapes. The die cast parts have a smooth and clean surface finish.
