Omme gears Srl is one of the main central Italy producers of mechanical gears and which has been present in the power transmission field for more than 50 years. It is specialized in the production of gear wheels and gearboxes (cycloidal, epycicloidal and parallel axes) parts suitable for various applications and industries. Today, as yesterday, the company’s structure successfully responds to the specific production requirements and personalized customers’ projects: vast flexibility, co-engineering and short delivery lead time are the goals we are aiming to achieve maximum satisfaction of our customers. Among our clients we are proud to mention some of the leading companies in the fields of gearbox production, construction of railway vehicles, earthmoving equipment and agricultural machines, ship building industry, wind power plants, heavy industry, mining industry and others. The company operates in total autonomy on all phases of production; the production unit covers an area of 4000 mq and is composed of turning, milling, drilling (where required), gear-cutting (both external and internal), hobbing and grinding. A test room, supplied with modern electronic equipment, provides a quality control to vanguard. Highly specialized staff is able to verify the perfect conformity with the specifications by checking the progress of ongoing processes. The wide range of our products and services includes: • external straight spur gears and helical spur gears from mod. 6 to mod. 30 • internal straight spur gears up to mod. 12 • pinion shafts and splined shafts from mod. 6 to mod. 30 • tang slots and splines broaching • key seats grinding • grinding of involute profile up to mod. 22 • turning and milling, internal and external grinding • production of spare parts • design and construction of complete gear reduction units
