Furthermore, we manufacture zinc die castings for all types of hardware, particularly window and door fittings from zinc diecast and furniture fittings. The zinc die casting a zinc alloy melt, the liquid is pressed under high pressure and high speed in a die-casting mold. This process takes place in dependence on the required surface quality and wall thickness within about 10 to 20 milliseconds. Here castings of high precision, hardness and strength can be produced. Because of the relatively low melting point and a particularly narrow solidification range of zinc alloys particularly close tolerances and demanding surfaces can be produced when zinc die casting. In this way the production of large quantities of a molding is possible. Zinc die casting is suitable for the smallest parts up to medium sized parts with complicated shape.

The Saxon diecast GmbH was founded in 1992 as a die-Saxon and electrical products GmbH, emerged from the VEB die casting, whose headquarters was in Borsdorf since 1954. In 1995, the operation was performed in the final privatization. During the year 2006, the aluminum foundry, tool and mechanical production was gradually shifted from Borsdorf to Beucha. At the beginning of 2007, the relocation of the entire Borsdorfer division was completed in the new and much larger facility in Beucha, which was accompanied simultaneously with an expansion of production and logistics capacity.
