The Linner Tooling GmbH is a family owned company in Wolnzach near Munich with about 120 employees. We are on the market now for about 30 years and are known for reliable quality, customer focused services and a very high degree of flexibility. To keep our position in the future we focused on three separate and highly specialized divisions. Precision series production Our series production deals with companies in the electronic industry mainly. For those companies a high quantity of products in good quality matters and so we use our turning automats, rotary transfer machines and indexing table machines in optimal way to meet theire requirements in a flexible and economical way. Precision tools and components The division has a big branch of customers from different industries for whom it produces special-purpose tools as fastener for reversing plates, profile and forming tools and many more. The range of parts produced in this division is limited by diameters up to 250 x 250 mm and we use combinations of grinding, eroding, milling or turning in an optimal way to ensure good quality. Therefore we use 5-axis milling centers and the latest CAD / CAM Systems to guarantee repeatability and the high standard of quality. Tool sharpening With most modern 5-axis CNC grinding machines and with the help of graphical simulation programs we produce new tools as stepped drills, profile millers and special-purpose tools. Further we regrind or reproduce special and standard tools with original geometrical data so the tools are as capable as new once. Off course we also offer common and special coatings and we are able to supply kanban-systems, a stock at your place and supply you just in time.

Schmitz-Spezialmaschinenbau GmbH was founded in Rhöndorf in 1994 and developed into a specialist in special machine construction just a few years later. In the following period, the company earned an excellent reputation as a manufacturer and supplier of complex solutions for technically sophisticated special machines. Today, Schmitz-Spezialmaschinenbau is a highly innovative company based in Rheinbreitbach at the foot of the Siebengebirge near Bonn. Some of the lathes are equipped with powered tools (1 to 3 revolver with Y-axis) to produce complex components for our clients in the automotive industry, drive technology as well as in mechanical engineering. Our machinery is characterised by its versatility. This ensures our ability to deliver even in case of bottlenecks and to ensure the supply of parts to our customers. One of the focuses of our range of parts lies in the serial production of complex parts. As a supplier, our state-of-the-art tool management helps us to compensate tool failures immediately. Heat treatment or surface refinement at partner companies certified according to ISO 9001 can be carried out at the customer’s request to complete the machining process. High precision (turned) milled parts With high precision and high efficiency multi-axis turning centres with 1 to 3 turrets and 1 to 3 Y-axes, we are able to produce high precision (turned) milled parts with driven tools. Depending on the requirements, we use specially manufactured form milling cutters through which the workpieces come close to ground surfaces in terms of accuracy, tolerance and surface roughness. Our gear milling activities: external and involute gearing (up to module 6) as well as spur gearing and serration. We process various types of materials, i.e. all current standard and quality steels as well as aluminium, cast iron and non-ferrous metals.
