VAS-GmbH was founded in 2001 and the main fields of activity are machining / welding on the one hand and vacuum technology on the other. In order to satisfy customers through quality, adherence to delivery dates and prices in line with the market, we have introduced a lean, non-certified QM system, use a powerful inventory management system and have acquired modern machinery. We have also established a branch in Bosnia at our headquarters. Furthermore, plants and plant modules can be designed, constructed, manufactured and put into operation according to customer specifications. Our staff has grown to around 35 employees, including 4 engineers, and we use CAD_Cam software for designing and programming. We are also always ready to go unconventional ways, to make prototypes or to develop or improve and help to design components according to manufacturing-specific criteria.

We are a young, small company engaged in machining metals and other materials. We are located in Spodnje Gorje, Slovenia, where we currently rent 200m2 of working space. We have many years of experience in the field of cnc processing, before we decided to work independently in this field. Galvanization Galvanization is the electrochemical process of protecting metal by electrlysis (oxidation/ reduction process that occurs at the electrodes during the passage of electrical current through the electrlyte). Galvanizing assure product protection from corrosion and wearability. As a base materials for process of galvanization appropriate are: steel, stainless steel, brass, copper, aluminium or ABS plastics. In the process of galvanizing, one or more extremely thin layers of only a few µm (1/1000 mm) are deposited onto the base material in the so-called galvanic cell. The product that is going to be coated is immersed into a metal salt solution (electrolytes) and connected with the negative pole (cathode) of a direct current source. The metal that is going to be deposited also enters the conductive bath in the form of anodes (positive pole) and as salt split into ions. Under current conduction, the metal ion that is going to be deposited goes into solution and is activated by the cathode, which represents the part and deposited there as a metal coating.
