C. Melchers & Co. was established on January 1, 1806 in Bremen, where the global company still maintains its headquarters to this very day. In the first few decades of the company’s history, over 30 ships sailed the oceans of the world under the Melchers flag, linking the ports of Europe, America and the Pacific. In the 1860s, C. Melchers & Co set up operations in Asia, where all its trading interests swiftly moved. At the same time, with the onset of steam ships, it abandoned its own shipping business to devote itself entirely to extending its trading operations. 1866 saw the establishment of the first branch in Hong Kong, in the wake of which China began to develop into a key lynchpin for the company’s business. Our company, Voulgarelis Tooling, was established in Athens, in 1983. SPR GmbH is a service provider for the production of turned and milled parts and your reliable contract manufacturer! The strengths of our production lie in the production of individual parts and small series. Regardless of whether it's turning, milling or turn-milling combinations, our machinery allows us to be very flexible for you. The maximum travel distances for milling are 1,100 x 600mm and with 5-axis simultaneous machining, we can process workpieces of up to 1.2 tons. On our lathes, we can produce chuck parts from the smallest diameters up to Ø800 mm. Shafts up to Ø500 mm and a length of 2000 mm can be produced. We are a second-generation injection molding business with a 52-year background and over 25 years of know-how in reversible multi-cavity insert integrated proprietary optical gate nozzle hot runner mold bases; this technology allows customers to reduce mold base cost, engineering time, and CNC workshop load time. The entire mold base system and inserts to hold multiple simultaneous and mixed cavities can be custom-designed to suit the customer's dimensional item average dimensions, allowing the customer to recycle mold bases over the years. With our technology, we have been able to produce parts with thicknesses as low as 0.7 mm in 4.5-second cycles, operating at a temperature of 18°C. Cycle times can be further reduced by using more efficient injection molding machines. Of course, the geometry and thickness of the part impose certain limits.

RE.TT - Rehau Tool Technologie We are the toolmaking company of REHAU AG + Co. We have been active in the field of extrusion technology for many years and design and build extrusion tools for the areas of pipe, tube and profile extrusion. The products that are manufactured with our tools are used in medical technology, the furniture sector, in the automotive environment and in civil engineering and construction (pipes, window profiles).
